Winter wants nothing to do with damon but it all works out eventually. I was looking for a good thin waterproof yet breathable jacket for spring and fall, and i do not want a waxed jacket I don't know barbour very well. The ashby is slightly more fitted in the chest, could probably only get away with a medium weight sweater to layer and remain comfortable
