My bathroom is not very large, and especially during winter, the mirror tends to fog up after the shower has been in use Damp, for example from leaking plumbing or weather getting in drying washing or towels over a heater in there Is there something i can do to avoid the mirror fogging up?

0 i have a bathroom wall mounted mirror ( approx 20 inch x 15 inch) i use for shaving that tends to fog up completely after i shower due to the steam An extractor fan in the bathroom drawing in steam from other sources (cooking, another bathroom etc.) which should be ventilated locally Do all mirrors fog up

Are there solutions to this problem

( other than just switching to cold showers :) ) the mirror is fairly old maybe 20 years , would that affect the fogging characteristics? I recently remodeled my bathrooms and removed the old flat glass mirrors that were hung on the walls I kept them thinking that i could cut and frame them, but i wound up just purchasing new ones.

We put mirrors in a bathroom years ago and varnished the edges and back of each mirror with 2 good coats of varnish 6 i have a full wall vanity mirror (70 x 42) in my bathroom wall I need to drill some holes through it in order to install a vanity light I realized that if the mirror is made from tempered glass it might shatter completely if i try to drill on it

The mirror probably is construction grade installed originally when the house was built in 1988.

I run the exhaust fan when showering but even so, the mirror fogs up completely Is this an indication that the fan is not sized or functioning correctly Or is this expected behavior, as no exhaus. 1 i've purchased an illuminated mirror (with a built in light strip around the outside) for my bathroom remodel

I'm trying to figure out the best way to wire it I have the wiring prepped for a new outlet in the wall behind the mirror The back of the mirror is flat, and sits flush against the wall. I am looking to put 3 large and heavy mirrors onto one of the walls in my room and am looking for advice on several things

I put in a mirror rack on top of the baseboard and nailed it to the studs.

I have an ugly giant frameless mirror glued to a tiled wall in my bathroom i want to remove It's probably been there > 20 years How do i get rid of it I'm thinking of just covering it in tape.

The mirror being mounted on a cold/badly insulated outside wall
