I'm coming up on 8 years on my michelin energy 295/80 r225 dulies We usually have only michelins, but with the price difference should Base on info here and elsewhere i'm considering toyo m144 tires
They are about $300 each cheaper It has 4 year old toyos on the front and and ten year old michelins on the rear I have had excellent service with
I purchased toyo tires in march because i couldn’t find michelin anywhere close by
295/80r22.5 are hard to find in michelin but after a thorough research, toyo was the path we took I am very pleased with the ride and handling, but best of all was the price A couple hundred dollars cheaper for each tire I will definitely buy them again.
Been running toyo for many years on my coaches, would never go to anything else Between 1 ton rigs to mh, have been a fan for over 30 years First heard about them from an uncle whom had a trucking I am looking at changing from michelin 255 80r 22.5 to toyo 265 75r 22.5
Any body have a comment of the toyo tire???
I currently have toyos on my 40 footer and due to age, they need to be replaced I know about fmca michelin program, but when checking out the dealer i was told the date on the tires are from mid 2015. Toyo shows them as a direct replacement, equivalent to the stock michelin tires i replaced I also noted that inflation pressures were quite similar to what michelin was based on my 4 corner weights
Tire size was 295/75/22.5 and price for 6 tires, removal/reinstall, balance beads, federal taxes was high at $4k. I am a big michelin fan I only run michelin on my car The motorhome is a different story
As a rv service manager i had many many customers complain about michelin tires on their motorhomes.
Michelin tires on my used national islander 40’ will soon be 7 years old, low miles Michelins will need replaced soon and i’m looking for best price on new toyo’s? On my vans and suv's, i have routinely gotten between 80~100k miles on michelin ltx tires Besides the superior grip, that makes them an incredible value
The issue with the big tires (22.5) has been on going At the same time, michelin sedan, suv and pickup tires seem to be fine. We are considering buying a 2005 dutchstar 4024
