Hi riley, you are right that we don't need mygov id to sign into the mygov account But once we have answered two questions about ourselves when linking to the ato, there is a message popped out saying that identity strength too weak to link to the ato and that you are unable to link to the ato using your mygov sign in details Select cancel and sign back in using your strongest mygovid. We have clients that need to nominate us as their tax agent, however, they cannot get a strong identity strength in the mygov id becasue they do not have a passport.
