Netgear orbi app speed test inaccurate vs speedtest.net for ac2200 router, helped by cm600 modem i just set up my new cm600 modem a few nights ago because my orbi 2200 router was being unreliable I'm confused with the wifi analytics section of this app. when i check my internet speed, on the internet speed section it's 32.15 mbps.  I bought the orbi router has really helped cover my duplex apartment with good, reliable wifi.
The router/mdodem is hardwired to my computer when i do a speedtest on netgear genie to www.netgear.com it says my download speed from this website is 631 kbps The ookla speedtest app on the idevice or the android device does test the complete connection, including the typically weaker wireless connection from the device to the router or wireless ap When i do a speedtest from www.speedtest.net is says my sownload speed is 88mbps
What is my actual download speed?
In fact, the wired pc using speedtest.net gets a higher speed than using orbi app to measure the speed from the fiber modem to orbi I hope i’m making sense I can answer questions if you have any I’m dumb as dirt with this stuff!

Orbi 479/12 mbps speedtest.net 301/13.2 fast.com 150/13 google 227/14.8 these use different (single vs multi threaded downloads etc.) methods, but one would expect orbi and speedtest.net to be similar in their methods.
