I went to basement for laundry and seeing water heater leaking, it just started leaking and i noticed on time, so not much damage to basement floor So i removed the valve and sealed it. First, i turned of water source (red rectangle) on the top, and i even turn of hvac now (it it cold today)

What should i need to do next? Its coming from the male threads that go into the water heater itself, not on the discharge side If the valve leaks, lift the lever to test it

If it keeps leaking, it might need to be replaced.

Navien 240a tankless heat exchanger leaking from the area circled in red Any idea what the root cause and fix is? On sunday, i flushed the water heater (done annually a preventative maintenance) On wednesday, the pilot was out

The pilot would light immediately. I was referred here from my thread in framing I have a hot water heater flue that goes up through my attic roof It has been leaking or condensating

Can it be from condensation if it is carrying air from the hot water heater and the weather outside is cold

The pictures are not from today. My gas water heater is leaking water, (not to bad, but bad enough it needs fixed) It is dripping out where the control valve screws into the water heater Was wondering if i could just pull the valve and replace the o ring, assuming that is the problem, or do i need to replace the entire control valve?

I have a 3 year old navien 240a tankless water heater A lot of water continuously flows through the condensation line even the heat exchanger is not operating The leak can only be stopped when i close the cold water inlet Most technician said there might be a leak in the heat exchanger

I purchased a water heater from lowes a few days ago (apparently it was a non name brand 40 gallon)

The water heater did not come with nipples so i purchased some from home depot and went at it with good ernst I installed the nipples with teflon tape (3 wraps) All the water is on the floor not the top of the pad, i don’t see any indication of water leaking from the heater and running down the side of the pad to the floor I do not feel any water at the top of the bottom black collar or where the heater overhangs the front of the pad.

Hello and thanks for any help I purchased a new richmond water heater and installed it After a week or so the threads on the t&p valve started leaking
