Hey guys, used to have minecraft downloaded when i was on windows 10 Everything worked fine for approximately 30 minutes, with crashing issues before and afterward. Got my pc upgraded a bit and the guy put me onto windows 11

Now whenever i downloaded the minecraft launcher it just says “windows is updating” and sits on that screen for hours My pc is perfectly capable of handling modded minecraft, and originally i had 8gb dedicated to the packs, but after reinstalling cureforge i kept changing it to see if it worked Nothing is happening and really not sure where to go from here

P.s if you want to get the old launcher back until a solution is found for the new one you can goto the minecraft website and download the windows 7/8 version (even if you are using windows 10 or 11) Installing that will get you the old launcher back.
